Tag Manufacturers

In order to promote competitiveness within the tag distribution network, the CCIA allows all tag manufacturers the opportunity to submit tags for the program. Very specific criteria for tag retention and readability must be met in order for RFID tags to be approved for use by the Canadian Cattle Identification Program. Tag manufacturers interested in manufacturing CCIA approved RFID tags for sale to producers, must first submit these tags for testing to ensure that they meet  all criteria as outlined in the CCIA Standards, Procedures, and Testing Document.
